Welcome to HorseSpirit Arts Gallery’s

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to present to you HorseSpirit Arts Gallery’s latest Art Show, “Lines and Curves.”  “Lines and Curves” visually ties together the unique works of three local artists.  Whether through the stroke of a brush, the shape of a vessel, or an intentional drip of paint “Lines and Curves” beautifully tells the stories of each of these artists…

April Rimpo is a strong artist who is not afraid to experiment with paint! Influenced young by her artistic father and grandfather April’s work is now regularly selected and shown in national and international watercolor and acrylic exhibitions. Saturday Studio Demo on Sep 11th, 1-4 pm. Watercolor Saturday Studio Demo, April Rimpo

Antonia Ramis Miguel paints primarily in the medium of oil, on canvas. Constructivism is the foundation of her work where the visual space on the canvas is broken down creating a spatial structure that interacts with the subjects represented. About herself, she says “My creative process is a combination of a series of choices and a process of analysis and constant reviewing of what is happening on the canvas.” Saturday Studio Demo TBA

Allen Alexopulos’ artistic goal is to highlight the natural figure, texture, and color from the wood. Simple shapes combined with graceful curvatures amplify the beauty of his turnings. Although Allen has explored many areas of woodturning, his principal repertoire includes natural edged vessels, lidded boxes with ornate finials, hollow forms, and formal vessels. You may have unknowingly seen his work in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, he turned restoration belaying pins for the USS Constellation. Saturday Studio Demo TBA.
