On a spring trip to the eastern shore we passed several fields of beautiful blue flowers. The bluebells are used as cover crops to decrease erosion. Wonderful surprise.

Painting with oil and cold wax medium is a journey through many layers of history. Each layer of paint brings new depth into the story, sometimes taking the painting in a totally unexpected direction while revealing marks from the past.
