Linda Schisler - "There is a large fallen tree in the forest next to my home. Over the years it has become an ecosystem for plants, bugs, and small woodland creatures.  That is my go to place for my mushroom photos. I scope it out every day for their arrival and note the time for perfect lighting. The sun hits the side of the tree where the mushrooms like to grow about an hour before sunset. I set up my camera early and wait for it. Sometimes in the quiet I will be visited by the doe and her twins. One of these days I'll get that shot too."
