Spring in the Mid-Atlantic Region brings lots of flowers, Cherry Tree Blossoms being one. They are short-lived, rain or wind can carry them all to the ground quickly. Fortunately, there were many in bloom this Spring during my afternoon walks, so I took countless photographs. This composition was found by zooming in and out on some of the images. As paintings developed I bring them up from the studio to help me assess the next steps. My husband kept saying he saw people in the painting. I then started noticing eyes. That results in the title "Where the Fairies Live." Have fun looking for fairies. Many hid behind the flowers as they developed, but you still might find a few.
